More Knowledgeable
I support Food Rescue ASEAN because I would like to be more knowledgeable about this particular issue. This specific issue is not only applicable to the Philippines, but there are plenty of countries that have the same problem. During the COVID-19 Pandemic, it is strenuous to earn a living; some residents do not have any meal on their table. Especially to poverty-stricken areas, we know that the Philippines have a lot of communities that are informal settlers, and they barely have basic human needs. Since I am just a teen, I would not be able to help much; I want to know more ways to be of help to them. Food Rescue ASEAN is one of the projects that I have stumbled upon, and when I have read pieces of information, I thought that it is a smart way to assist people.
Assisstance
I want to be able to help people, especially poverty-stricken residents, to have a more comfortable life. I always see at least one person living in the street and having a hard time, and I consistently find myself being empathetic to the situation that I want to be able to help them, even if just a little bit. I always try my best to be of assistance to them whenever I see them, especially when I am alone since my mother sometimes does not allow me to go near because it's dangerous. I understand her, and I know that she is just worried, but there are times where also she tries to help them. I want these people to experience that people are willing to help them out in different ways; they can depend on others.
Malnutrition and Food Waste
I also support Food Rescue ASEAN because it has stated that it lessens food waste; this means that it will also decrease malnutrition in the area. Knowing that there is food waste every day while people are hungry, that idea is saddening. If some food from the food waste can be of use to other people, then it is best to give them away. Malnutrition is not only applicable in the Philippines, and Food Rescue ASEAN is one of the ways to lessen both food waste and malnutrition. The volunteers have also been using a bicycle as a means of transportation; this also decreases the carbon emission rate.

Donation
I will be able to support Food Rescue ASEAN through donations; it can either be food or money. Food would be my most probable choice of contribution because it is the focal process of the project; it is to collect food waste.
Extend Information
I would be able to support Food Rescue ASEAN by spreading the word of the project to other people. By doing this, other people will be able to support the project in their own way until plenty of people notice and support the project. The result of this will create an expanded scope of the project and may be implemented in other areas.
Get Involved
Be a member of the project. By being a volunteer, I will be able to do the processes of the project first hand. I will be able to give my labor to this project, and a bonus would be the experience that comes from the project. By doing this, I would be able to see the reactions of the people and know what is needed to be improved. Especially to people who are less blessed than me, I would like to help them to improve their lifestyle.
